Fear and Peace, a poem

Fear.
He knocks at the door.
Loud. Bold. Terror.
You shook him,
Got rid of him.
Then suddenly…
Your heart pounds,
You can’t rest.
Thunderclouds inside your chest.
You breathe less.
She breathes more.
She overcomes.
Focuses on what good is there.
Brushes your hair.
Gives water to your soul,
And makes you whole.
Peace.
